Warm Waxing
Waxing is an excellent addition to any treatment menu and provides repeat business as it is an essential maintenance option for many clients.
The GTi Waxing Course meets the Habia National Occupational Standards and covers the various types of hair removal, anatomy and physiology, skin disorders and diseases, contra-actions and contra-indications, reception, consultation, ventilation, technique, male waxing and aftercare.
The course teaches everything you need to know about carrying out a professional waxing service on different areas of the body including the legs, bikini line, underarms and facial waxing.
On completion of the course you will receive a certificate and a recognised, insurable qualification.
A take home kit can be included for an additional £56.
We will provide you with any products/tools required to complete the practical course.

Cancellations & Refunds

If you cancel your course within 24 hours after the initial booking of your course you will receive a full refund.
After this time unfortunately there is no refund available.
Please note that course payments are non-transferable and non-refundable after 24 hours of your booking.
If you are unable to attend your booked course, this will result in the loss of the full amount paid for that course.
In the event of a genuine reason for cancellation, for which proof will be required, we may be able to transfer you onto another course date solely at the discretion of Twenty9 Academy. However, this may incur a course transfer fee of £40.
Duration
Approx. Eight hours practical classroom-based training over one full day, plus online theory work.
Theory work to be completed in your own time via The Guild student portal before your practical course date.
Full day – Practical day – 9am – 5pm
It is advisable that students arrive 15 mins early to ensure a prompt start. In a lot of cases the practical training can be finished earlier than expected depending on how many students there are and the duration the required tasks take to complete the course.

GTi award certified by the Beauty Guild, widely recognised and insurable.
Course Requirements
If you are not currently a Guild member, you will need to purchase a 3 month student membership costing £25.
This will insure you whilst practicing and also gives you access to your online theory work. (You can attend and access theory work for as many Guild courses as you wish within the 3 month period)
We will enrol you around 3 weeks prior to your course date, so you will receive an email with information on how to set up your student membership from us at this point.
